Fantasy Photography

Fantasy photography is a creative and fun style of photography perfectly suited to people with a passion for the artistic and unusual or with theatrical personalities.

You may wish to set up a theme for your photo shoot and create a scene accordingly. Examples of past concepts we've captured include "Alice and Wonderland", "Pirates", "Wild Cavewomen", "Vampire Queen", "Greek Gods", "Angels", "Dark Angels" and even Cosplay Characters.

Fantasy styling can be as simple as creating an artistic up style for the hair and adding feathered lashes to more elaborate scenes involving fully costumed characters. If you have always dreamed of having a fantasy shoot we actively encourage them to discuss it with us so we can create something magical.

Candid Photography

Candid photography is widely regarded as the most organic and natural style of photography as it focuses on spontaneity rather than technique and is used to capture private moments such as an unguarded laugh, smile or an unexpected kiss.

The attitude of the photographer is to immerse the camera in the event and not to stage situations. Candid shots are often unplanned, unposed and immediate ranging from an intimate whisper between lovers to a playful and energetic family hug.

This style of photography rarely involves the subject looking directly at the camera and is perfect for people who aren't comfortable with traditional photography and don't want to feel posed.

Boudoir Photography

Boudoir Photography helps female clients to capture their feminine, seductive side. The term 'Boudoir' comes from the French word for 'sulky' and a Boudoir scene often consists of bedding and draping with luxurious textures such as fur, silk and satin.

Hair is tussled in a glamorous, sexy style and the makeup becomes smoky and alluring. Clients wanting to shoot a Boudoir session usually wear suggestive clothing such as lingerie or underwear and some may even wish to wear no clothing and have artistic nude photographs taken.

For couples Boudoir photography can capture the softer, romantic elements of their relationship or they may wish to heat things up and make the shots more erotic and sensual.

Fashion Photography

Fashion Photography is a style of photography that focuses on full body shots for clients wishing to try their hand at modelling and capture some clean, contemporary shots wearing clothing and accessories that make a statement about who they are.

This often involves unusual and artistic posing and a fine art attitude towards angling and composing a shot. The photographer takes charge in directing the client where to stand, where to look and how to position their bodies in the desired manner.

The result of this type of session is a variety of shots that have a bold, commercial quality that could be framed, canvassed and hung on the wall or put into an album for a portfolio.

Glamour Photography

Glamour Photography is one of the most popular styles of photography created at our studios and involves a session being fully customised to achieve the most flattering and desired results.

Everything from the hair and makeup, lighting, posing, editing and composition of the shot is designed to capture the individual beauty of the client. A glamorous style is slightly more heightened and can involve adding voluminous, bouncy curls to long hair, darkening eye makeup and adding gloss to lips to achieve that red carpet look.

Pinup Photography is currently a fashionable form of Glamour photography in which we recreate vintage, 1940's or 1950's shots with the appropriate hair, makeup and clothing and a fun, flirtatious and energetic feel.
